Another Grueling 24 Hours for Jack Bauer

Season 7 of ‘’24’’ ended when Jack was in a coma. Season 8, also known as Day 8 picks it off a couple of years later just after 4PM.

Jack is comfortably dozing on a sofa playing with his granddaughter. The doctor has declared success to his risky treatment to the bioweapon infection.  He plans to take a job with a private security firm. Life is running smooth for Jack but within the first four episodes of the series, Jack is pressed back into the service. To avoid any possible spoilers, Let me brief you in on the work put in by the cast and directors..

The shooting of Season 8 began in 27th May 2009 and it will premier on 17th January 2010. CTU Ney York offices are used in this season. There originally were no plans for filming in New York due to budget constraints but some scenes were shot on location.

A recent interview with Kiefer Sutherland confirmed that this season is likely to be the last unless the writers come up with a good idea for a ninth season and the fans are eager to see more. Count me in Jack!

Mary Lynn Rajskub, popularly known as the CTU’s Systems analyst, Chloe O’Brian, had also said that any chance for a ninth season depends on how many viewers tune in to the season 8 premiere. Sutherland stated “there’s only so much you can do to Jack (Bauer) before you lose realism. I think a movie would be a good way to end this story.”

A movie to end it all? No way, they would have tripped and landed on a livewire. They should just let things be as they are and think of working on Season 9.

Haha.. I agree with you Chiira, there is no way 24 can be summed up by a movie. @Jackfacts24 on Twitter has made me believe that Jack Bauer cannot die! He cheats death and that’s what he’s best at! Big Fun!
